You accept this Tax-Free Policy when you sign up for or use our products, services or any other features, technologies or functionalities offered by us on our website, application or through any other means (collectively the “ services"). 1. How we handle your request for VAT reimbursement

When you visit the website or use the form, we collect information necessary for handling your VAT reimbursement.

If you make use of the services, we will collect the following types of information:

  • Contact information - your name, address, phone, email, sina weibo, facebook and other similar information.

  • Financial information - the full bank account numbers and/or credit card numbers and/or PayPal account that you link to your account or give us when you use the services.

  • Identity information - copy of your passport and/or visa stating your non-EU residency.

Before permitting you to use the services, we may require you to provide additional information we can use to verify your identity or address or manage risk, such as your date of birth or other information.

2. How we handle your request for VAT reimbursement

If you are leaving the EU from Schiphol Airport, there are four ways to receive payment:

  • Cash refund, location: desk departure hall 3 - only available for receipts from certain shops who participate in the cash program.

  • Transfer to Dutch bank account

  • Transfer to foreign bank account - a transfer fee of €5.50 applies and all costs are for beneficiary

  • Transfer to PayPal or Moneybookers account

If you are not leaving from Schiphol Airport, it is only possible to receive a payment by bank or PayPal/Moneybookers.

3. How we protect and store personal information

We use the term "personal information" to describe information that can be associated with a specific person and can be used to identify that person. We do not consider personal information to include information that has been anonymized so that it does not identify a specific user.

We store and process your personal information on our computers in the EU and elsewhere in the world where facilities or our service providers are located, and we protect it by maintaining physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in compliance with EU-regulations.

4. How we share personal information with merchants

To process your payments, we may share some of your personal information with the person or company involved with VAT reimbursement or VAT offsetting.

We work with merchants to enable them to accept or facilitate payments from or to you using In doing so, a third party may share information about you with us, such as your email address or mobile phone number to inform you that a payment is sent to you. We use this information to confirm that you are a client and that as a form of payment can be enabled, or where a payment is sent to you to send you notification that you have received a payment. Also, if you request that we validate your status as a client with a third party, we will do so. Please note that merchants will have their own tax-free policies, and may not be held responsible for their operations, including, but not limited to, their information practices.

5. How we share personal information with other parties

We may share your personal information with:

  • Merchants, shop owners and/or shop administrations who will need limited information to process the VAT offset with the local government.

  • Service providers under contract who help with parts of our business operations such as fraud prevention, bill collection, marketing and technology services. Our contracts dictate that these service providers only use your information in connection with the services they perform for us and not for their own benefit.

  • Law enforcement, government officials, or other third parties when

    • we are compelled to do so by a subpoena, court order or similar legal procedure

    • we need to do so to comply with law, tax-free regulations or credit card rules

    • we believe in good faith that the disclosure of personal information is necessary to prevent physical harm or financial loss, to report suspected illegal activity or to investigate violations of our User Agreement.

  • Other third parties with your consent or direction to do so. will not sell or rent any of your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes and only shares your personal information with third parties as described in this policy.
