Customs
You can find customs offices at all international airports in the EU, at border crossings, and at train stations.
You’ll receive digital customs documents from your shipper if you export goods via ocean freighter or courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.).
Airports
Customs desks are available at all international airports in the EU, 24/7. They’re usually located in departure halls, close to check-in desks. Follow the signs for customs or ask an airport employee to point you in the right direction.
Most airports have manual customs desks where you can get an export validation stamp on your receipts and documents from the store.
Some airports have digital customs machines where you can scan Tax-Free documents received from the store.

After customs
After passing by customs, upload pictures of your purchase documents with customs validation to your Vatfree.com account.
You can create an account via our app for iOs and Android, or the website.

Payment
Each store has different payment terms and processes. This is visible in your account.
When your claim has been processed by the store we notify you automatically by email and the app. You can request payment after a store has processed your claim.
